It's about as good as any other regional airline. The regionals are where you start when you want to end up with the legacy carriers (AA, United, etc). You need less experience to get your foot in the door so it's easier to get a job, but the management knows you're probably just building experience till you can get in with the "big" carriers so pay is even lower than you'd get with the legacy carriers. It can also be a grind, working lots of short trips in a single day as opposed to the legacy carriers where you might spend half your workday on a single flight across the country. This is true for pilots and for FA's. Mesa is no better or worse than any of the small carriers--- Republic, Air Wisconsin, etc, it's all pretty much the same.
