ALLEGIANT AIR Experience?
I am thinking about booking a flight on Allegiant from Mesa to Rapid City. Has anyone taken the route? How about the fees that they add? I read about a checked luggage fee, convenience fee for booking on their site, etc.

Allegiant Air is wonderful. They do not cancel flights--they may run late, but what other airline can say they don't cancel? It is true that you are going to pay for what you want, but the fees are unbundled. This means you can choose if you want to pay or not. Other airlines assume that you want to pay for food, bags, seats, and things of that nature. You are paying for those things when you book your flight on other airlines if you know it or not. Allegiant just gives you an option to make air travel more affordable. I love Allegiant!! You can make it as inexpensive as you like. It's up to you.
